Marie Dubois was a French actress with a career spanning several decades. She made her film debut in 1959 and gained early recognition in Shoot the Piano Player. Throughout the 1960s, she appeared in New Wave films such as Jules and Jim and The Thief of Paris, as well as thrillers and comedies. Her career continued through the 1970s and 1980s, with her performance in La Menace earning her the César Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, and appearances in notable films such as Mon oncle d'Amérique and Garçon!.
